The Reds have now lost to Crystal Palace, Chelsea, Manchester United, Brentford and Manchester City along with Forest. Their only win in the Premier League was a 2-0 victory over Aston Villa in early November.
There has been some respite for Liverpool in the Champions League with Arne Slot’s side beating Eintracht Frankfurt and Real Madrid in Europe. However, their Premier League title defence is all-but over after just 12 games with the Reds losing half of their league matches.
Slot’s job is not under immediate threat but the longer the poor performances and results continue, the more the discontent will begin to grow. The pressure on Slot is somewhat heightened given Liverpool spent a record-breaking £450m in the latest transfer window.
Only Burnley and Wolves have lost more times than the Reds in the Premier League this season.
