The Bundesliga champions are eager to bolster their defensive unit by signing a right-back next year. So, the 19-year-old Feyenoord prodigy has emerged as a target for the Bavarian outfit.
The Dutchman is also a target for Manchester City, with the Premier League club monitoring his progress at the Eredivisie club. However, the Citizens have fallen behind Bayern Munich in the race to sign Read, as the German giants have held talks with his representatives over a possible move.

Givairo Read is the latest promising prodigy to rise in prominence in his homeland. The Amsterdam native has spent his formative years thus far in the Netherlands, starting his youth career with Zeeburgia and spending half a decade with FC Volendam before graduating from the youth division at Feyenoord.
The 19-year-old had to wait until February 2024 to make his senior bow for Feyenoord, but he has not looked back since then. Read has made nearly 50 appearances thus far for the Eredivisie outfit, chipping in with four goals and 11 assists.
