Manchester United play host to Everton on Monday Night Football, but they may have to do so without forward Matheus Cunha.
Old Trafford is the venue for the Monday night clash between the two clubs, which will see former United manager David Moyes return with the Toffees.
United have enjoyed an upturn in form in recent weeks and are unbeaten in five matches in the Premier League. Victory over Everton could see them move up to fourth in the table, if other results go their way between now and kick-off on Monday night.
Cunha has played an important role in that upturn in fortunes, scoring in the 4-2 win over Brighton & Hove Albion and impressing against Nottingham Forest and Tottenham Hotspur in 2-2 draws.
But there is concern that he may miss the visit of Everton, not that it has been confirmed by United.
Bizarre situation

In a bizarre turn of events, the news that Cunha has suffered an injury came from the official Visit Altrincham Instagram account!
Why, you may ask? Well, the 26-year-old was due to be present at the Christmas lights switch on in the town on Saturday night, but pulled out of the event juist hours before it was due to take place, with Visit Altrincham confirming it was due to an "accident in training".
The post on Visit Altrincham's official Instagram page read: "Unfortunately Matheus Cunha has had an accident in training today and will not be able to attend tonight’s Christmas Lights Switch on in Altrincham due to medical reasons.
"There’s lots of exciting performances to come including Luzahnn of Livin’ Joy and Sam Aston, winner of Dancing on Ice 2025, who is Chesney in Coronation Street will be switching on the lights!"
Mainoo chance
Kobbie Mainoo
Being missing due to "medical reasons" will lead to supporters getting anxious about his health and availability for the clash with Everton on Monday night. Ruben Amorim did not mention anything about the Brazilian during his pre-match press conference on Friday, so something must have happened in training on Saturday.
It remains to be seen what the training accident was, with Amorim sure to be asked about it by Sky Sports prior to kick-off, with the game live on television on Monday night.
Cunha arrived at Old Trafford in a £62.5million deal from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer and his potential omission from the squad on Monday night could open up the door to Kobbie Mainoo, who has returned to group training and is in contention to be part of the squad.
