Pep Guardiola has explained what happened at full-time after he confronted Bruno Guimaraes on the pitch after Newcastle United's 2-1 win over Man City.
The Man City boss made a beeline for the Brazilian and looked like he'd lost his cool before storming off the field. The incident also resulted in Joelinton being marched away by Newcastle performance director James Bunce as tempers flared.
It later emerged that Newcastle officials were advised to get Joelinton back down the tunnel and out of harm's way.
Gianluigi Donnarumma had also clashed with Newcastle players and was involved in a verbal slanging match with Newcastle assistant Jason Tindall.
When asked what had been said Guardiola said: "I told him (Bruno) how good he is, and the situation with Gigio [Donnarumma] I told him what happened for the previous situations. I think it's fine."
Guardiola was also pressed on the way Newcastle were playing - in terms of their intense tactics - Guardiola said: "I didn't complain about that.

"Newcastle is a top side, top players, top manager so unfortunately tonight we could not make the momentum that we had. It was an entertaining game, we both had chances, and then there was a momentum shift, and ultimately we couldn't win.
"Both keepers were good, and after we missed chances. It was an entertaining game with many chances. We were closer in the beginning."
Guardiola was pushed on whether he complained to the referee Sam Barrott, but said: "No questions, everything is fine."
The Man City chief was questioned on whether Donnarumma had any complaints about the second goal, which did go to a VAR check.
The Italian goalkeeper was booked for his protestations after being beaten by Harvey Barnes' close range effort. There had been a scramble in the build up with Donnarumma not looking comfortable from set-pieces and crosses.
Guardiola played down the incident, however. He said: "If he complained, it's because something wrong happened. The same happened in Bournemouth. It's what it is."
