Injury Report: Seahawks could be without 2 LBs vs Titans

Linebacker depth could be of concern for the Seattle Seahawks when they face the struggling Tennessee Titans.

The Seahawks on Friday ruled out Tyrice Knight (concussion) and listed starter Ernest Jones IV (knee) as questionable for Sunday’s game.

Knight’s absence comes as no surprise after he was held out of practice all week while in concussion protocol. But Jones’ status comes with some concern as he continues to deal with a knee injury suffered Nov. 2 against Washington.

After missing one game, Jones returned to action last week against the Rams. However, he went from a limited participant in Thursday’s practice to being held out on Friday.

Rookie left guard Grey Zabel (knee), running back Kenneth Walker III (glute) and fullback Robbie Ouzts (personal, non-injury related) were each listed as questionable.

Head coach Mike Macdonald said Zabel, who has started all 10 games at left guard this season, will be a game-time decision, according to The Athletic’s Michael-Shawn Dugar. Zabel suffered a left knee injury in the final minutes against the Rams. Imaging done on the knee Monday show no significant damage.

Walker was a new addition to the injury list Friday. But Macdonald said Walker is expected to play, per ESPN’s Brady Henderson.

Ouzts missed Wednesday and Thursday’s practices while dealing with a personal matter, but he returned as a full participant on Friday.

Seattle also ruled out rookie wide receiver Tory Horton (shin). The fifth-round pick is set to miss his third straight game.

The Titans ruled out three players for Sunday’s game: wide receiver Elic Ayomanor (hamstring), safety Xavier Woods (hamstring) and safety Kendell Brooks (concussion). Running back Kalel Mullings (ankle), center Corey Levin (neck) and cornerback Darrell Baker Jr. (knee, illness) are each questionable.

Ayomanor leads the Titans with two TD receptions and is second in receptions (28) and yards (334). Woods and Baker are each tied for fourth with 34 tackles.
