Clemson’s Antonio Williams confirms he’s declaring for the 2026 NFL Draft

CLEMSON, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Antonio Williams didn’t dance around the elephant in the room. Moments after Clemson’s 45–10 win over Furman wrapped up Senior Night, the Tigers’ top receiver made it clear he won’t be back in 2026.

When asked whether he would use his remaining year of eligibility, Williams didn’t hesitate.

“No sir,” he said.

And that was that.

The redshirt junior, who participated in senior ceremonies despite technically having another season available, officially confirmed he will enter the 2026 NFL Draft after the year.

It’s a decision that has felt inevitable to those around the program, but Saturday marked the first time he publicly put a stamp on it.

The All-ACC receiver Williams has been Clemson’s most consistent receiver the past two years.

Saturday night against Furman, Williams surpassed the 20-touchdown mark on his 200th career catch in the first quarter.

Even while dealing with a nagging hamstring this season, he’s produced 48 catches for 538 yards and four touchdowns; again emerging as Cade Klubnik’s most trusted target and the steady piece in a young receiver room.

NFL attention has followed him for a while; now the timeline is locked in.

Saturday might have been his final appearance in Death Valley, but not his final game as a Tiger.

Clemson still travels to Columbia next week for the Palmetto Bowl.

Williams will then have a choice to make regarding the postseason before shifting fully into draft preparation.

It’s officially official. Antonio Williams is headed to the NFL, and Clemson’s receiving corps is about to enter a new era without its most dependable piece.
