Alan Shearer is backing Man Utd to secure the three points when they face Everton on Monday evening.
Writing in his column for Metro, Shearer said that the performances of two summer signings could be the difference for Ruben Amorim’s team:
“Man United are on a good run, and the comeback against Spurs suggests they’re all in it together and have the bit between their teeth.”

“It’ll be tough because Everton will frustrate them. But with Cunha and Mbuemo, they have two players who ask a lot of the opposition. For that reason, I’ll go for a home win.”

Harry Maguire has been ruled out of the game due to a hamstring injury he picked up against Tottenham. Benjamin Sesko is also absent with a knee problem, while Kobbie Mainoo is a doubt.
Toffees boss David Moyes will be without Jarrad Branthwaite as he is still building up his fitness following hamstring surgery, while both Merlin Rohl (hernia) and Nathan Patterson (groin) won’t make the trip to Old Trafford.
