Everton star Jack Grealish was one of the summer’s most impressive signings across the entirety of the Premier League campaign – and that has translated onto the pitch this season.
Everton signed Jack Grealish on loan from Manchester City in the summer transfer window after his lack of games at the Etihad Stadium, with the winger finding a new home at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
He’s immediately endeared himself to Everton fans, looking back to his best that he showed in his early City days and throughout the latter parts of his Aston Villa stint.
And one stat has shown that he’s one of the most impressive stars in the Premier League – ranking way beyond Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah in the process.

Jack Grealish statistic shows how vital he’s been for Everton this season
Jack Grealish has been a revelation at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, recording four assists to start the campaign and giving the Toffees a real attacking edge.
Although Iliman Ndiaye will take the plaudits, Grealish has been a huge part of Everton’s campaign – and one stat in particular has highlighted just how good he’s been.
In terms of Premier League wingers, Grealish has made 60 progressive carries with the ball. Only Manchester City star Jeremy Doku has more on 81, and although Brighton star Yankuba Minteh also has 60 to his name, Grealish has featured in 209 fewer minutes of Premier League football.

Mohamed Salah is only in fourth with 48 progressive carries, and he’s played 247 minutes of football more than Grealish – almost three entire games.
With Liverpool struggling in the league, it’s easy to point the finger at Salah for his output, with just four goals and two assists in 12 games – far less than his output last season.
Grealish is the best dribbler on Merseyside and bringing him in has proven to be a superb piece of business by David Moyes.
Jack Grealish is still in with a huge shout to make the England squad
Jack Grealish has been on the cusp of an England call-up, but he’s yet to play under Thomas Tuchel.
In fact, his previous England call-up saw him score against Finland last October, meaning it’s been a year since his last appearance for the Three Lions.
Anthony Gordon hasn’t been in great form, and although Marcus Rashford has been solid, there haven’t been many better English wingers than the Manchester City loanee this season. Former teammate Nico O’Reilly has even stated that Grealish can still achieve ‘whatever he wants’ in the Premier League.
Grealish will need to up his output in the coming weeks if he is to make Tuchel’s squad, but a stat such as his dribbling expertise could tip the balance ahead of the summer transfer window.
