Nwaneri AND Dowman Backed To Leave The Emirates By Arsenal‘Invincible’

**Arsenal Invincible Lauren believes it would be a good idea for Ethan Nwaneri to leave the Gunners in order to get more first-team football.**

It has been [**reported**](https://goonernews.com/blog/arsenal-transfer-news-gabriel-martinelli-ben-white-gabriel-jesus/) that the teenager could be allowed to move on loan during the January transfer window, and Lauren says that Nwaneri (and potentially Max Dowman) could benefit by gaining experience at another team:

“First of all, youngsters have to play to able to develop and improve his qualities. We know about his qualities. A young player needs to play if he is to develop. At this moment of time, it’s very difficult for him to pop up into the team because there is a top player now.”

“There are more good players in the last third so for him it’s more difficult, and it’s the same with Dowman. It’s not a bad idea to go on loan and then to play the games that you need to develop. Maybe he might come back. It’s not the end of the world. I believe it could be a good option for a youngster to move along and then come back later on.”

Nwaneri has not played as much as he would have liked

-----------------------------------------------------

It was reported prior to the 18-year-old signing a new contract back in August that he wanted assurances about game time.

However, since the start of the season, Nwaneri has played 425 minutes in total, with 3 starts across all competitions; none of which have come in the Premier League.

Eberechi Eze’s arrival, in particular, has undoubtedly impacted the minutes he is getting on the pitch.

Dowman won’t be leaving Arsenal anytime soon

--------------------------------------------

While Nwaneri could seek game time elsewhere, his fellow Hale End Academy graduate is not in the same situation.

Dowman only made his senior debut at the start of this campaign. In contrast, Nwaneri’s first appearance for the Gunners was over three years ago.

They are at different stages of their development, and Dowman is currently much better off at the Emirates rather than going out on loan.
