Bucks see multi-year streak from 2022 snapped in tough defeat to Pistons

Theincredible start to their 2025-26 NBA season continues for the Detroit Pistons, who extended their win streak to 12 games after taking down the Giannis Antetokounmpo-less Milwaukee Bucksat Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee on Saturday night. Behind the strong play again of star point guard Cade Cunningham, the Pistons crushed the Bucks to the tune of a 129-116 score.

The Pistons will savor that win a little longer, especially since beating Milwaukee hasn’t been a frequent occurrence for them over the last few years.

Milwaukee shot the ball well versus the Pistons, as the Bucks made 51 percent of their attempts from the field, but they couldn’t do much to slow down the visiting squad. Detroit had a field day on offense, shooting 63 percent from the floor and hitting 16 of their 30 tries from behind the arc.

Ryan Rollins led Milwaukee, as he scored 24 points, while Bobby Portis had 18 points. The Bucks will meet Detroit three more times in the 2025-26 season, including the one on Dec. 3 in Milwaukee again.
