A lot is starting to be asked surrounding Arne Slot’s future at Liverpool.
Despite romping to the Premier League title last season and spending almost £450m to help retain it, everything just seems to be going wrong for the Reds right now.
They have lost eight of their last 11 games, lost six already in the league and conceded 20 goals already after letting in three against Nottingham Forest.

This has led to fans questioning whether Slot is the right man for the job, with a fair amount believing that he should be sacked already.
If he were to be, Jurgen Klopp appears to be the name most heavily linked, and bringing him back might be the best option given what has happened in the past.

Kenny Dalglish has shown why bringing Jurgen Klopp back is the best option
Of course, a lot would need to happen for this to occur, with the first two steps being for Slot to be sacked and Klopp to agree to take over.
If Klopp does agree, though, Liverpool fans have already seen why his return could be beneficial, with a similar situation happening in 2011.
After going through a tough time under Roy Hodgson, Liverpool decided to bring back Kenny Dalglish to take over, doing so for the next season-and-a-half.

This appointment was a popular one as it brought the fanbase back together, lifted the players due to having a respected figure return and led to Liverpool having a fairly decent time.
They finished sixth in the half season he had, before coming eighth the year after, although he did guide them to silverware by winning the EFL Cup.
Klopp would be able to do the exact same as the players look like they need a little bit of a lift, with the German the man who would be able to do this.

Should Liverpool sack Arne Slot?

The fans would also love the appointment, should Slot go that is, suggesting that collectively, it would be the best move if he agrees.
Jurgen Klopp’s tactics would also be welcomed
One of the issues under Slot right now is that Liverpool look leggy and teams are winning every duel on the pitch against them.
This is something that would change under Klopp as he would demand intensity, with this energy being something the Reds need.
Klopp’s training sessions were all about pressing and Liverpool have lacked this so far, with this a reason why they are being rolled over so easily.
It would certainly be a brave move to sack Slot, but as long as Klopp agrees, they should have a solid contingency plan in place.
