West Ham Forward Set To Return For Key Liverpool And Man United Fixtures After Bournemouth Absence

**West Ham winger Crysencio Summerville was not in the matchday squad for the 2-2 draw against Bournemouth on Saturday.**

There was no indication that the Dutchman would be absent prior to the team being announced in the build-up to kick off.

However, Summerville is believed to have sustained a minor knock, which prevented him from being involved at the weekend.

Luis Guilherme took the forward’s place in the starting eleven, but the young Brazilian only lasted 45 minutes before head coach Nuno Espirito Santo opted to replace him.

West Ham have two big games coming up

The fact that Summerville will not be on the treatment table for long will be welcomed by fans. The Hammers take on Premier League champions Liverpool next weekend before a trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United the following Thursday.

Currently, Liverpool do not have a fit right-back. Dominik Szoboszlai is filling in with Conor Bradley and Jeremir Frimpong both sidelined. Summerville’s presence would, therefore, be a major boost for Nuno, who could use him to target a key weakness in their opponents.

Other West Ham team news

------------------------

[**Lucas Paqueta**](https://hammersheadlines.com/west-ham-transfer-news-lucas-paqueta-8/) missed the Bournemouth fixture due to suspension. The Brazilian international picked up his fifth yellow card of the campaign during the 3-2 win over Burnley just before the international break. He has now served his one-match ban, and he will return to the squad for the Liverpool game.

Konstantinis Mavropanos remains a doubt for next week. The Greek international injured his thigh against Brentford, and he has been unavailable for four straight matches. Nuno says his fitness is improving, but it would be a surprise if he is named in the starting eleven next Sunday. Lukasz Fabianski is currently on the sidelines with a back injury, while Oliver Scarles is out for the long term, having undergone surgery on his shoulder.
