Eagles' Week 12 inactive list is a brutal reminder of Howie Roseman whiff

The final piece of information for the Philadelphia Eagles' Week 12 showdown against the Dallas Cowboys has been released, with one notable player again being on it.

Eagles running back A.J. Dillon is inactive once again for Philly. Four other players were included:

Sam Howell, Third QB

Mac McWilliams, CB

A.J. Dillon, RB

Lane Johnson, RT

Ty Robinson, DT

Dillon continues to be a non-factor for the Eagles

It's been consecutive games that Dillon has been inactive for the Eagles. Ever since the first New York Giants game, Dillon has not been able to win the coaching staff's favor. In the blowout loss to New York, Dillon had a muffed kickoff return and an offensive fumble within a few plays of each other in the fourth quarter.

The emergence of Tank Bigsby has also sunk any chance of Dillon getting back on the field. Bigsby has had a 100-yard game as a backup and is averaging almost 10 yards a carry. The Dillon move doesn't look like a great one for Howie Roseman.

A big note there as well is the official news that Lane Johnson is out, which would be the first time he has missed a game this season. Despite getting hurt in multiple games, it was his foot injury in the Detroit Lions Week 11 game that put him on the sidelines for what looks to be about three weeks, with a target return of the Las Vegas Raiders game.

Another disappointing name on the list is rookie Ty Robinson, who hasn't gotten on the field yet. He looked good in training camp and preseason, but has not had much time on the field this season and has been a frequent visitor to the inactive list.

Dillon looks to be on his off the team, but the only hope is Johnson won't be on it too often.
