Is Kenneth Walker playing today? Seahawks confirm RB's status for Week 12

Seattle Seahawks fans got a bit of an injury scare with the team's final injury report ahead of Week 12. The team travels to play the bad Tennessee Titans, but even a terrible team can surprise a good one if the good one doesn't have its best players. Seattle suddenly might have been missing one of its best.

Running back Kenneth Walker III, who is having a quietly very good season, [was listed as questionable](https://12thmanrising.com/seattle-seahawks-final-week-12-injury-report-strange-designation-kenneth-walker) for the game while not having an injury designation at any point during the week. He had a glute issue. This popped up just days after head coach Mike Macdonald said the team might look to use Walker more moving forward.

Of course, he can't be used if he isn't available to play. One of the problems for the running back in the previous two seasons, besides diminished production, is that he has increasingly missed games due to injury. He missed six in 2024, but had remained healthy through the first 10 games of 2025.

Seahawks' Kenneth Walker is expected to play in Week 12, and he could dominate vs. Titans

Here is the positive news, though. Despite being listed as questionable, Macdonald confirmed that the team was simply being cautious with the running back and that Walker was fully expected to play against the Titans. The only problem would be if Walker's glute suddenly and unexpectedly got worse.

Tennessee isn't particularly good at anything defensively. The passer rating allowed is 102.6, which is 25th in the NFL. The Titans allowed 4.7 yards per rush, also 25th in the league. Nashville's team has also given up 15 rushing touchdowns in 2025, which is second-worst.

Assuming Kenneth Walker III plays, he could be a force for the Seattle Seahawks both in rushing and receiving. He's always been a bit of an underrated receiver, and could use that skill to full effect against the Titans.

The Seahawks will certainly be without rookie wide receiver Tory Horton (shin) and linebacker Tyrice Knight (concussion). Linebacker Ernest Jones was listed as questionable with a knee issue, but won't play and is listed among the inactives for Seattle. Rookie left guard [Grey Zabel is questionable](https://12thmanrising.com/mike-macdonald-says-what-seattle-seahawks-fans-wanted-hear-about-grey-zabel) with a knee injury he suffered in Week 11. Fullback Robbie Ouzts is questionable, but is dealing with a personal matter.

**Seattle Seahawks inactives for Week 12:**

* Quarterback Jalen Milroe

* Linebacker Ernest Jones IV

* Linebacker Tyrice Knight

* Edge rusher Jared Ivey

* Edge rusher Connor O'Toole

* Offensive lineman Mason Richman
