Kansas City Chiefs come from behind to beat Indianapolis Colts in overtime

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WIBW) - The Kansas City Chiefs really needed a win on Sunday afternoon to stay afloat in the AFC playoff hunt.

KC did just that thanks to an overtime win against the Indianapolis Colts. The Chiefs overcome a double-digit deficit in the second half, capped off by a Harrison Butker field goal to send the game to overtime.

Kansas City’s defense forced a stop on the Colts’ initial possession of the overtime period, putting the ball in the hands of the Chiefs’ offense, who promptly marched the ball down the field and into field goal range.

Butker nailed the game-winning 27-yard field goal with less than two minutes remaining in OT, giving the Chiefs a 23-20 win.

Kansas City improves to 6-5 on the year with the win. Their next game is on Thanksgiving against the Dallas Cowboys.
