Eberechi Eze’s hat-trick helped Arsenal to an emphatic 4-1 win over North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon.
After Leandro Trossard had put the Gunners in front, Eze struck to double their advantage before the break.
He then added his second and Arsenal’s third, before Richarlison pulled one back for the Lilywhites with a stunning chip over David Raya.
Eze then completed his hat-trick with a third composed finish, ensuring victory for Mikel Arteta’s side and moving them six points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
Next up for Arsenal is a game against German champions Bayern Munich in the Champions League group phase, but in the meantime it has emerged that the North London side are in the race to sign a Premier League defender.
As per CaughtOffside, Arsenal are one of a number of Premier League sides interested in Nottingham Forest’s Murillo.
It is claimed that the Gunners have been keeping tabs on the Brazilian centre-back, who has formed an impressive partnership with Nikola Milenkovic at the heart of Forest’s backline over the past couple of seasons.

Having joined Forest from Brazilian side Corinthians back in 2023, the central defender has now made 87 appearances for the club across all competitions.
He is under contract at The City Ground until the end of the 2028/29 season, but the report claims that several sides including Chelsea and Barcelona are monitoring the player.
Chelsea are said to have been keeping an eye on the defender Ince the summer, with Blues boss Enzo Maresca having identified the Forest star as a top transfer target as he looks to bolster his defensive options.
Despite significant interest from elsewhere, Forest are said to value the player at around £70-80 million, and it remains to be seen whether or not that price will deter potential suitors.
