After missing five games due to a fibula injury, wide receiver Chris Godwin is back in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' offensive mix in Week 12 as they take on the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium on Sunday night. Godwin has only played in two games so far in 2025, as his start to the season was delayed while he finished up his rehab from a severe ankle injury suffered last November.
Godwin was one of three players who were listed as questionable to play against the Rams on the Buccaneers' Friday injury report, but both he and outside linebacker Markees Watts, who has missed two games with a hand injury were cleared on Sunday night. However, rookie cornerback Benjamin Morrison is inactive thanks to a hamstring injury he sustained during the week of practice. Morrison previously missed the season opener with a quad injury and two games in October with a separate hamstring strain.
The Buccaneers' defense will also be without cornerback Jamel Dean, who was one of four players ruled out on Friday's injury report, along with guard Ben Bredeson, running back Bucky Irving and outside linebacker Haason Reddick. With Dean and Morrison both sidelined, Tampa Bay has four cornerbacks available on Sunday night: Zyon McCollum, Jacob Parrish, Kindle Vildor and Josh Hayes. Parrish has the flexibility to play both outside and in the slot, a dual role he has handled in two other games this season.
The Buccaneers and Rams submitted their list of inactives at 6:50 p.m. ET on Sunday, 90 minutes before the scheduled kickoff of their Week 12 meeting at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The Buccaneers elevated safety Marcus Banks from their practice squad for the game and thus had to name six inactives to get down to the game-day limit of 48. The Rams elevated linebacker Eli Neal and WR Brennan Presley from their practice squad and therefore had to name seven inactives.
The Rams' inactive information willb be added shortly.
