CLEVELAND, Ohio — Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders has his first NFL touchdown pass in his first NFL start.
In the middle of the fourth quarter on Sunday against the Raiders in Las Vegas, Sanders hit fellow rookie running back Dylan Sampson on a quick dump off pass to the right.
Sampson then took the ball and raced 66 yards past the Raiders defense for a touchdown, giving the Browns a 24-3 lead.
The play is the longest of the season for the Browns, and it’s the second time in this game they had their longest play of the season.
The previous long came in the first quarter when Sanders went deep to Isaiah Bond and connected for a gain of 52 yards.
Sanders has led the Browns on three touchdown drives in his first career NFL start. The touchdown pass moved Sanders’ stat line to 11 of 20 for 209 yards, a TD and a interception.
It adds up to a traditional quarterback rating of 87.3.
