Kevin Stefanski will not commit to Shedeur Sanders.
On Sunday, Sanders won his first NFL career win as a starter against the Las Vegas Raiders.
After the game, Sanders spoke about his big win, finally being able to practice with the team’s first-team offense.
“This win is crazy. It’s amazing, you know, off of one week of practice. You’re not even seeing the best version of me. This is what we put together with one week of practice. So imagine what a full off-season is gonna look like. It’s gonna get dangerous. But yeah, just one week of practice, man. I’m truly thankful, you know, that everything happened the way it did.”
Despite Sanders’ confidence, Stefanski refused to name Sanders the starter during his postgame press conference.
“I’m not going to get into that,” Stefanski said. “Obviously, proud of him and proud of this offense and there are a ton of things to learn from, but I’m just going to worry about today.”

You just know Stefanski wanted Shedeur to fail and look bad today. Now he’s non committal after a win. He’s gotta be on borrowed time. https://t.co/Kcspma44FH
