Ebere Eze has admitted Sunday was one of the most special days "in my life", after making Arsenal history.
Our playmaker became just the fourth-ever player to score a hat-trick in a north London derby in our 4-1 Premier League win over Tottenham Hotspur.
Ebere's treble helped the Gunners return to winning ways and continue our unbeaten run, taking our lead at the summit of the league to six points.
"It's crazy. It's a special day for me, my family, and I'm happy to help the team to win," he reflected after the final whistle at a buoyant Emirates Stadium.
"It's so special, I can only thank God for it. For the opportunity to be here, be working and applying myself every day - it's a special day in my life.
"We were prepared for whatever setup they were coming here with, and huge credit to the lads. It's a good day and a good performance from the team all round."

Eze doubled our lead late in the first half in N5 after Leandro Trossard had slotted us in front, and then added his second to make it 3-0 before a minute had even elapsed of the second 45.
"Yeah, [scoring at that time] was perfect," he affirmed. "We knew we had to score again, because they would switch up their game and maybe play more aggressively.
"The goal came with great timing, but it still took a lot of work and effort to keep them out, because they have threats as well. It's a great three points, as I say."
After Richarlison had pulled one back for the visitors, Eze wrestled back the baton and completed a stunning hat-trick as the derby entered its final 15 minutes, rounding off our fourth successive victory over our neighbours.
Having now bagged seven goals for club and country so far in 2025/26, our no. 10 has discovered a real scoring touch - which demonstrates his perfectionist frustration at having been denied his fourth of the day late on by Guglielmo Vicario.
"I probably should have scored four, to be honest.
"I'm always trying to score more and take my chances, and be more relentless. So I'm a bit disappointed not to score that one, but it's part of the game.
"We're focused on ourselves, and on putting in the work every day, because it's not by chance that you go out and perform. So we'll keep working, pushing and believing, and we'll see where it takes us."
