Terry Bradshaw delivered an impromptu pep talk to the Cowboys ahead of their pivotal Week 12 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles — and the invigorating speech appeared to work.

Prior to kickoff in the NFC East clash, Bradshaw — who received a hilarious welcome back to 'FOX NFL Sunday' after missing last week's show with an illness — shed light on an important conversation he had with one of his underperforming stallions. “Michael, you're not gonna like this. I'm gonna do it anyway, even though I know you're not gonna like it,” Bradshaw began.

“I got a stud horse. His name is Mean Joe Greene — biggest disappointment I ever had in my barn, and I finally had to talk with him this past week.

“And I told him, ‘Look, man, we got the world show coming up, and you’re gonna stay in the Bradshaw barn, or you’re going somewhere else.’ He went out, and you know what, he delivered.”

By “delivered,” Bradshaw meant that Mean Joe Greene emerged victorious in the 2025 AQHA World Championship Show Finals — beating out his opponent, Born Evinceble, by 15 points.

To conclude the motivational story, Bradshaw likened Mean Joe Greene back to the Cowboys and their own struggles this season. Entering play Sunday, Dallas boasted a 4-5-1 record after losing two of their last three contests.

“My point is this — I’m trying to make — this is Dallas! This is it! I have a talk with you,” Bradshaw said. “It’s time to deliver, Dallas today makes a statement by beating Philadelphia, and then they’ll convince themselves they belong in the world championship.”

Sure enough, the Cowboys seemingly took Bradshaw’s words to heart upon staging an improbable 24-21 victory over the Eagles. Despite trailing by as many as 21 points, Dallas scored 24 unanswered — thereby matching the largest comeback in franchise history.

"I feel like the first half we were just a little bit sloppy, just shooting ourself in the foot," said Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens, who recorded a team-high nine receptions for 146 yards and a touchdown.

“Really nothing they were doing, just what we were doing to ourselves. So resiliency, definitely when we came out of here."

Quarterback Dak Prescott was instrumental in the come-from-behind win, completing 23-of-36 passes for 354 yards, two touchdowns and one interception, while also adding another score on the ground.

In the aftermath of the thrilling game, Prescott not only surpassed Tony Romo as the Cowboys' all-time leading passer, but also became Dallas' all-time leading quarterback in fourth quarter/overtime comebacks (25).

"We got that touchdown before half, and when we went into halftime we talked about it," Prescott said.

"Like, we've only been hurting ourselves. We know what we're capable of doing. Come out, stay focused, stick together and we can win this thing. Nobody blinked, everybody believed and we got it done."
