Matthew Stafford has been one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL in 2025, and after a blowout win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he might have established himself as the MVP frontrunner.
Stafford threw for 273 yards and three touchdowns in a dominant 34-7 win over the Buccaneers on "Sunday Night Football." The Rams advanced to 9-2 on the season and currently are the No. 1 seed in the NFC. With Stafford, the Rams look like one of the best teams in the NFL.

Stafford's 30 touchdowns is his highest total with the Rams since the 2021 season when he tied a career-high with 41 and led Los Angles to a Super Bowl victory.

His second touchdown of the half was a no-look pass to Coby Parkinson, putting Los Angeles up 21-0.

When the Buccaneers responded to make the score 21-7, Stafford and the Rams drove down the field and scored a touchdown, with a beautiful throw to Davante Adams.
There were some that felt that Matthew Stafford wasn't a Hall of Famer because l he never made All-Pro and has just two Pro Bowls in his seventeen season career.

While he did not light up the scoreboard in the second half, the Rams made the game a blowout by halftime when the score was 31-7. His opposing star quarterback, Baker Mayfield, left the game with a shoulder injury.
