Cowboys star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb did little to hide his frustration once all hope seemed to be lost before Dallas pulled off a come-from-behind win.

On Sunday, the Cowboys secured a miraculous 24-21 victory over the Eagles after receiving an impromptu pep talk from Terry Bradshaw. Despite trailing by as many as 21 in the first half, Dallas responded with 24 unanswered points — thereby matching the largest comeback in franchise history.

Lost in the shuffle of the Cowboys’ historic performance was an afternoon to forget for Lamb, whose woes against the Eagles persisted into Week 12. The 26-year-old managed to reel in four of 11 targets for 75 yards, but also recorded three drops — one of which caused him to lose his cool.

On a pivotal third-and-goal with just under four minutes remaining in the contest, quarterback Dak Prescott lofted a pass toward the back of the end zone intended for Lamb, who failed to reel in the catch with cornerback Cooper DeJean draped on his back.

Immediately following the incompletion, Lamb jumped to his feet and began pointing towards the corner of the end zone — seemingly telling Prescott where he should’ve thrown the ball.

Upon returning to the sideline, the Oklahoma product angrily whipped his hair back and stomped his legs as several teammates attempted to calm him down.

Speaking to reporters during a postgame press conference, Prescott shed light on the supportive message he shared with Lamb amidst his uncharacteristic struggles. Over the Cowboys’ last two matchups against the Eagles, the wideout has seven drops.

"He's a guy that expects to make a lot of plays, and when he’s not making them — trust me, I’ve had games I’ve felt the exact same way,” Prescott said of Lamb, who inked a four-year, $136 million contract extension with the Cowboys last August.

“So for me, it was about, 'Hey, don't press. Let’s not ride the highs and the lows. You know, even if you’ve had a bad play or whatever it may be, let it go. You're a hell of a player and you know it.

“He made great plays and big plays. The big catch down in the end and got the PI with what would’ve been a touchdown after that. When you press — and I’ve seen CeeDee do it — you're not going to get the best version of yourself. I’m the same way.

“And so for me, it’s like when I can tell he’s getting in that position it’s just about talking to him,” Prescott continued.

“He did a good job of responding and just staying with it, and made the plays that he needed to make for us ultimately to win this game.

“He’s a hell of a player, and he’s gonna get frustrated when he’s not making the plays that he expects to make, but he will make those."
