The pain. The pure pain of watching the Philadelphia Eagles fumble a 21-point lead to lose to their division rival, the Dallas Cowboys, 24-21 in Week 12 action, is still felt.
After the Eagles' offense scored touchdowns on the first three possessions of the game, they didn't do anything else after that. Philly's defense deserves blame as well for allowing 354 yards passing from the Cowboys. 14 penalties, two turnovers, and one missed field goal by the Eagles also don't help.
A game like this makes it tough to find any winners, but there sure were some losers from the Eagles.
Losers: Eagles' Pass Rush
Let's bunch on a group that had been so great the last two weeks, but were pretty much non-existent against the Cowboys. Nakobe Dean was the only guy on the Eagles to get a sack, but the team had just six quarterback hits and took them over a quarter to get them. It felt like Dak Prescott had all day to throw, which can't happen against one of the best passing offenses in the NFL.
Winner: A.J. Brown, WR
Hey, give credit where credit is due: A.J. Brown looked good. On 10 targets, he caught eight of them for 110 yards and a touchdown, with his longest play being from 22 yards. Even though he had more yards in the Minnesota Vikings game, this was arguably his best game of the season, as he did good things with yards after the catch.
Loser: Saquon Barkley, RB
It hurts to do this, but the Eagles are on game 11, and Barkley isn't playing well. He averaged 2.2 yards per carry and had a critical fumble in the fourth quarter. Yes, the offensive line has not been great, but when Tank Bigsby runs the ball, it feels different than when Barkley runs the ball. This isn't just an offensive line or Kevin Patullo problem; part of this is on Barkley as well.
Winner: Jalen Hurts, QB
Look, was it a perfect performance from Hurts? No, but he did everything he could under the circumstances. He completed 27 of 39 passes for 289 yards and one passing score, as well as being the leading rusher with 33 yards and two rushing touchdowns. Hurts took a bad sack on third down on the final drive, so that wasn't great, but a lot of what he was dealing with was out of his control.

Loser: Nick Sirianni, Head Coach
From his decision not to be aggressive at the end of the first half to letting Jake Elliott kick a 56-yard field goal in the fourth quarter, Sirianni was the ultimate loser in this game. The Eagles nearly had 100 penalty yards on 14 penalties, showcasing how undisciplined Philly was all game. Losing a 21-point lead should always fall on the head coach first, so Eagles fans, look to Sirianni to figure out what happened.
