Whilst it is far from guaranteed, the signs are positive for Ousmane Dembélé (28) to return from injury to face Tottenham Hotspur on Wendesday.
It has been an injury-hit campaign so far for Dembélé, who won the Ballon d’Or back in September. The Frenchman fired Paris Saint-Germain to UEFA Champions League glory, but has featured sparingly, and when he has, he has not been at 100%.
His most recent injury (calf) came earlier this month, during the defeat to Bayern Munich. It meant that he missed the most recent international break. A return was hypothesised for last weekend and the 3-0 win over Le Havre AC.
However, Luis Enrique opted to take no risks. But [**L’Équipe**](https://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Article/Ousmane-dembele-peut-il-faire-son-retour-contre-tottenham-en-tout-cas-il-a-faim-comme-toujours/1611760) are now reporting that an internal source at PSG has said that Dembélé is _“feeling good”_ ahead of Wednesday’s game against Tottenham Hotspur. They added that the former Barcelona forward is _“hungry”_ to make his return.
His return will happen before the end of the month and perhaps against Tottenham. The signs, in any case, are positive.
