November 24 – Chelsea have signed a long-term partnership with The Coca-Cola Company, bringing the drinks giant on board as the club’s Official Soft Drink Supplier across the UK and Europe.
The deal will see Coke Zero front a full portfolio of Coca-Cola beverages served across both Stamford Bridge and Kingsmeadow, home to the Women’s team. Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Fanta, Sprite and other brands will be made available across general concourses, hospitality areas and club events from this season onwards – though the official length of the deal and financial details were not disclosed.
Beyond pouring rights, the partnership will apparently lean heavily into fan engagement. Chelsea and Coca-Cola will work together on matchday activations, digital campaigns, retail promotions and community initiatives, all aimed at delivering what the two parties describe as ‘fan-first experiences’ and moments to ‘Drink it In’.
Coca-Cola have been moving aggressively to secure pouring rights across a number of Premier League clubs, having added Manchester United and Aston Villa to its growing roster of commercial partners in recent weeks.
Oliver Boden, Chelsea’s partnership sales director, said Coca-Cola’s “global reach, cultural influence, and focus on fan-first experiences” made the company a natural fit. “Together, we’re committed to delivering refreshing moments for our supporters at Stamford Bridge and beyond,” he said.
Javier Meza, Coca-Cola’s Europe marketing president, called Chelsea “an iconic team with a passionate global fanbase,” adding the company “looks forward to connecting with Blues fans and enhancing the matchday experience with our leading soft drink portfolio.”
Chelsea are currently on the right end of a winning streak in the Premier League, most recently toppling Burnley to climb to second in the table, leapfrogging Manchester City, who failed to beat Newcastle at St James’s Park – a result which has left Guardiola’s side seven points off the pace set by leaders Arsenal.
