Three bold predictions for Everton vs Man United as Tyler Dibling finally announces himself

Everton are back in Premier League action this evening as they take on Manchester United at Old Trafford.

David Moyes’ side beat Fulham just before the break, so they’ll be looking to secure back-to-back wins for the first time since August.

Manchester United, meanwhile, are in a rich vein of form as they’ve won three of their last five games, so they’re full of confidence at the moment.

Paul Merson fancies United to beat Everton, and so too does Chris Sutton, so the Toffees have the opportunity to cause an upset.

Seamus Coleman gets an assist on his first start

Seamus Coleman hasn’t started a Premier League game this season, but he may well get the nod tonight.

MORE EVERTON STORIES

Moyes has hinted that Coleman could play against United after his heroics for Ireland during the international break.

David Moyes always looks forward to facing Man United

“I always think Manchester United is one of the biggest fixtures of the season wherever you are.”

The 37-year-old has been impressing in training, too, so we reckon he could roll back the years and produce a terrific performance at right-back.

The veteran will register an assist with a beautiful curling cross for one of the centre-forwards.

Thierno Barry scores first goal

Another first could happen tonight as Thierno Barry finally gets off the mark for Everton with a memorable goal at Old Trafford.

Barry played really well against Fulham just before the international break, and he will take that confidence into the game tonight.

The towering centre-forward could even combine with the aforementioned Coleman and head home one of his crosses.

Tyler Dibling shines in cameo appearance

Tyler Dibling has been impressing coaches around Finch Farm, and many have been surprised by his lack of game time.

Dibling was outstanding in his two games against Man United last season, so Moyes should give him the chance to impress from the bench.

The 19-year-old will finally announce himself to Everton supporters by destroying United for the final 20 minutes.

Former Southampton manager Russell Martin on Tyler Dibling

“He’s the most talented player I’ve ever seen. Tyler has every capability to go and play for England and at a top level club for a very long time.”

The England under-21 international will make it very difficult for Moyes not to start him against Newcastle United on the weekend.
