The 6-5 Carolina Panthers head to San Francisco for a Monday Night Football matchup against the 7-4 49ers. If the Panthers can pull off the upset, they would jump the 49ers in the Wild Card standings and make things even more interesting in their NFC South race with the Buccaneers. If the 49ers, who are 7-point favorites, win this game, they will jump 2 games against the Panthers and own the tiebreaker in the Wild Card standings. The win will also keep the 49ers within striking distance of the first-place Rams in the NFC West. The 49ers are 7-2 this season against NFC opponents, and that is with Brock Purdy and George Kittle missing the majority of the season. At nearly full strength on offense, the 49ers will be too much for the Panthers to handle, winning this game 27-10.
