Arne Slot is under a little bit of pressure right now.
Things keep on going from bad to worse for the Reds right now as a heavy 3-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest means they have now lost eight of their last 11 matches.
This leaves them in the bottom half of the Premier League, but Slot does not have too much time to dwell on things as they have a game in just two days’ time.

They take on PSV in the Champions League, which is a game that, on paper, they should be winning, but a lot of change is needed if this is to be the case.
There is plenty the Dutchman can do to switch things up, but here are three changes he could make that could save him his job.
Liverpool must go back to 4-3-3

Everything just seemed to go right for Slot and Liverpool last season, with one of the reasons for this being consistency and hard work.
Slot used a 4-3-3 formation that he stuck with for most of the season, with Dominik Szoboszlai the third midfielder rather than an out-and-out number 10.
This provided a much better balance to the side, with Liverpool more potent in attack, but more importantly, much more solid at the back.

They were much harder to play through too, something that has been a huge problem so far this season, suggesting it might be time to go back to this against PSV.
Hugo Ekitike and Alexander Isak must start together
It has been something that all fans have wanted to see for a while now, and with them both now fit, this game is the chance to play Hugo Ekitike and Alexander Isak together.
If he does opt for a 4-3-3, then this would mean Ekitike must play on the left, something he has done in the past, while Isak leads the line.
The Swede barely got any service against Nottingham Forest at the weekend, but with the hard-working Frenchman to his left, this should change in this one.

There is also less risk trying it out in this game, and let’s be real, things cannot get any worse so why not give it a go?
Liverpool need to press much higher up the pitch
One thing Liverpool have really lost from last season is their energy and ability to press high up the pitch, with teams starting to overrun them.
Jurgen Klopp demanded intensity and even when things were not going to plan, this would get them over the line more often than not.

However, under Slot this season, this has completely faded and it has led to them losing duels all over the pitch, which is one of the main reasons they cannot control matches anymore.
So in training this week, the Dutchman needs to be drilling this back into his players, with a high-pressing approach the best way to get their season back on track.
