What a day to be a Gooner!

The Gunners rolled over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, 4-1, lead by the hat-trick explosion from Eberechi Eze!

This is the team we have dreamed of for many years. They are dynamic, aggressive, skilled, determined and entirely focussed on the goals at hand. Even facing injuries to key players over the past weeks, Arsenal’s strength as a team has been amazing! They have been looking the devil in the eye and spitting in his face, match after match.

So, now Mikel Arteta’s squad has a 6-point lead at the top of the Premier League table over second place Chelsea, seven points over Man City and eleven points ahead of defending league title-holders Liverpool.

Of course, we can’t get too excited or too over-confident because the season is only twelves matches old with twenty-six to go. That’s still a lot of football to play. However, there is one thing for sure, Arsenal is the team to beat, and only Arsenal can lose the title by beating themselves.

Congratulations to Eze for Sunday’s remarkable performance. The English midfielder proved exactly why the Gunners wanted this player so badly. Eze is becoming a real Arsenal man, and Sunday he showed our neighbors exactly why he wanted to play for Arteta, and not Thomas Frank.

Up next, a really, really huge match to claim who is the top club in the Champions League at this stage of the competition. None other than long-time foe Harry Kane wil travel to to the Emirates with German giants Bayern Munich. This game should be a cracker!

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, November 26th at 3 pm ET for this one!

Will Arteta rotate his starting XI if some of his key players return from injury, or will he stick with what has been working lately?

More on that tomorrow!

Have a great day, and COYG!
