Among the names set to attend a New Orleans Saints kicker workout on Monday is Justin Tucker.
The NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport report the ex-Baltimore Ravens All-Pro will get a shot to return to the NFL following the serving of a 10-game suspension for a violation of the league’s personal conduct policy.
Tucker, 36, had been accused of misconduct by six Baltimore-area masseuses that came to light in an investigation by The Baltimore Banner in early 2025. More masseuses came forward with similar stories following the publishing of the investigation. The allegations have not been proven in a court of law and Tucker has maintained his innocence in the matter.
The Ravens announced the release of Tucker in early May in the midst of the league’s investigation, calling the release a “football decision.”
“I mean, you’re talking about arguably the best kicker in the history of the game,” Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said in the spring. “And like we said, it’s multi-layered, it’s complicated. But in the end, it all comes back to what you have to do to get ready for your team to play the first game. And I think if you step back and you take a look at all the issues and all the ramifications, you can understand that we’ve got to get our football team ready and we’ve gotta have a kicker to go. And that was the move that we decided to make.”
A native of Houston, Tucker was undrafted out of Texas. He spent 13 seasons with the Ravens where he was a first-team All-Pro on five occasions and was a member of Baltimore’s Super Bowl XLVII-winning squad in 2013.
Incubent Saints kicker Blake Grupe missed a pair of field goals in the team’s 24-10 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. Grupe is 18-for-26 on field-goal attempts this season. His eight missed FGA are the most in the NFL.
