Nov. 24 (UPI) -- Baker Mayfield, Alvin Kamara and Tee Higgins were among the NFL players injured in Week 12. Injured players will be evaluated his week to determine the extent of their injuries and potential timelines for return.
Will Campbell, Tyrique Stevenson, Christian Darrisaw and Reed Blankenship were among the other notable players hurt through Sunday's slate of NFL matchups.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Todd Bowles said Mayfield sprained his left shoulder in the first half of a 34-7 loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday in Inglewood, Calif. Mayfield, who did not return, was scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday.
The Buccaneers' quarterback completed 9 of 19 passes for 41 yards, a touchdown and an interception against the Rams. He also ran for 19 yards. Backup quarterback Teddy Bridgewater completed 8 of 15 passes for 62 yards in the loss.
Connor Bazelak is the Buccaneers' practice squad quarterback.
"Teddy will play, obviously if he is out for some time," Bowles said of Mayfield. "We'll bring up Connor from behind him and go from there. I am very confident in what Teddy can do."
The Buccaneers (6-5) will host the Arizona Cardinals (3-8) on Sunday in Tampa, Fla.
The Cardinals lost defensive lineman Walter Nolen and guard Will Hernandez to knee injuries during a 27-24 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday in Glendale, Ariz.
Jaguars offensive lineman Chuma Edoga sustained a calf injury during the win.
New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara sustained a right knee injury and did not play in the second half of a 24-10 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
Saints coach Kellen Moore did not provide and update on Kamara, who totaled 11 yards on three carries.
Backup running back Devin Neal totaled 61 yards from scrimmage on 12 touches against the Falcons. Taysom Hill totaled 17 yards on 10 carries.
The Saints (2-9) will face the Miami Dolphins (4-7) in Week 13.
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins sustained a concussion in the fourth quarter of a 26-20 loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday in Cincinnati. He logged five catches for 31 yards before his exit.
The Bengals also lost running back Tahj Brooks (concussion) and cornerback Marco Wilson (hamstring) in the loss.
Patriots offensive tackle Will Campbell was carted to the locker room because of a knee sprain.
Patriots coach Mike Vrabel said Monday on the Greg Hill Show that Campbell will likely miss more than a "week or two" because of the issue.
The Patriots (10-2) will host the New York Giants (2-10) in Week 13. The Bengals (3-8) will face the Baltimore Ravens (6-5).
The Minnesota Vikings lost offensive linemen Christian Darrisaw (foot) and Donovan Jackson (ankle) during a 23-6 loss to the Green Bay Packers.
The Packers lost cornerback Keisean Nixon to a stinger.
The Vikings (4-7) will face the Seattle Seahawks (8-3) in Week 13. The Packers (7-3-1) will battle the Detroit Lions (7-4).
The Philadelphia Eagles lost safety Reed Blankenship (thigh), cornerback Adoree' Jackson (concussion) and defensive back Andrew Mukuba (leg) during a loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
The Eagles (8-3) will host the Chicago Bears (8-3) on Friday in Philadelphia. The Cowboys (5-5-1) will host the Kansas City Chiefs (6-5) in Week 13.
The Bears lost cornerback Tyrique Stevenson (hip), offensive lineman Jonah Jackson (eye) and linebacker Ruben Hyppolite (shoulder) during a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The San Francisco 49ers (7-4) will host the Carolina Panthers (6-5) in the NFL's Week 12 finale at 7:15 p.m. EST Monday in Santa Clara, Calif.
