Whitehouse’s Mahomes has over 300 yards passing in Chiefs win

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KLTV) - Former Whitehouse Wildcat Patrick Mahomes didn’t throw a touchdown pass on Sunday, but he threw for over 350 yards in Kansas City’s 23-20 win over the Indianapolis Colts in overtime.

This season, Mahomes has thrown for 2,977 yards, 18 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

Mahomes finished 29-of-46 for 352 yards and one interception. He completed 63 percent of his passes on Sunday. He also rushed four times for 30 yards. Mahomes engineered a 14 play, 81-yard drive in overtime to set up the game-winning 27-yard field goal by Harrison Butker.

Kansas City (6-5) heads to Arlington for a Thanksgiving Day matchup with the Dallas Cowboys.
