Terry Bradshaw is facing calls to retire from his broadcasting gig at FOX NFL Sunday after having to be corrected by co-star Michael Strahan following a struggle with Seattle Seahawks receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba's name.

Bradshaw, 77, is in the twilight years of his highly successful broadcasting career following his four-time Super Bowl-winning exploits as the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback. He has suffered his fair share of on-screen gaffs, leading to calls for him to accelerate his retirement timeline, with Bradshaw already setting the date for after the 2029 Super Bowl.

On Sunday, Bradshaw had his latest broadcast blunder. He attempted to say Seattle's wide receiver Smith-Njigba's name. Instead, what he said was, "Njigbu," forcing co-star Strahan to issue two corrections.

Bradshaw has drawn concern from viewers of FOX NFL Sunday. "For all things holy in the world~ facilitate a respectful exit of Terry Bradshaw… He is a legend so let him go out w grace and dignity. His comments are beyond comprehension, and has doesn't have any bearing or substance on football," one user wrote.

"Again… Terry Bradshaw… certified legend but needs to at minimum stop doing these halftime recaps. Halfway through he starts slurring and other guys have to step in," another fan said.

"Terry Bradshaw either needs to retire or give up doing the highlights because he keeps messing this up over and over," a third tweeted. Outside of broadcasting, Bradshaw has made a pretty penny with his various business ventures.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Bradshaw boasts a personal fortune of $45 million, having achieved success both as a player and a broadcaster. The football icon earns approximately $2M per year working for Fox, while he picked up a salary of $470,000 at the height of his playing days.

Reflecting on his history during an episode of "The Bradshaw Bunch", he admitted, "Getting married is a huge thing and it hadn't been exactly the strength of my life, that's for sure.
