David Moyes and Ruben Amorim both agree that Manchester United are able to call upon home comforts, once again, at Old Trafford before they host Everton.

Amorim acknowledges that it has recently been hard to play in front of their own fans. However, the head coach now says that is not the case.

He said: "That's the best thing (playing in front of United's own fans), because over the recent past it was hard to play at home. But, nowadays, you miss playing at home, that is a feeling we should have in our club.

"I'm really excited to be back playing at home, and the players also are. We need to continue winning at home."

United have won their last four matches at Old Trafford, beating Brighton, Burnley, Chelsea and Sunderland. Their only home defeat this season was on the opening weekend against Arsenal.

Everton are up next, with former United manager Moyes returning to the Old Trafford dugout. He said: "I'm looking forward to going back. I'm always treated well.

"Manchester United have got incredible support inside the stadium. They get behind their managers and players."

Amorim also addressed the fact United were scheduled for a Monday night match. He said: "You'd want to play at the weekend because of our fans. That's the main thing.

"I understand nowadays this is a business and we need to respect that - TV companies give us a lot of money to control that, but I prefer to play at weekends because it's a family moment. Old Trafford is always full, so it's going to be a very good moment."

He went on: "We know that Old Trafford is going to be in full spirit. They just want us to run, to fight, and then to play good football, so we will try to do that."

Amorim has also reiterated the need to win, not merely extend their current unbeaten run. He said: "We need to think to be six games unbeaten.

"But then unbeaten is not enough. I came from these last two games [against Nottingham Forest and Tottenham Hotspur], especially the last one, very frustrated.

"So, for us, it's not enough. In this club, it doesn't matter the moment; it's not enough to be unbeaten.

"Unbeaten is not everything. We didn't win the last two games, so I think like that."
