Morgan Rogers has really come to life after a slow start to the season.
The Reds may have spent big in the summer but it has not paid off just yet following a terrible start to the season.
They still have areas that need reinforcing too, with this something they will be planning to sort out in the next few transfer windows.

One of these might be looking for a creative player who also works hard and can match the demands of the league, so they should look no further than Morgan Rogers.
The Aston Villa star has shown his quality for quite some time now, and what he has just done has shown that he is the answer to Liverpool’s problems.

Morgan Rogers shines against Leeds
Rogers’ talent has been on display for the last few years now, but it was last season where he really showed how good he can be.
He scored eight and assisted 10 goals, with this even catching the eye of Liverpool, although they never made a move.
Now, though, they might rethink their decision after their start to the season as well as his recent performances, with Rogers shining again against Leeds.

He scored both of their goals, including an excellent free-kick, while also showing some nice touches and pieces of skill.
As seen in the past, he can carry the ball forward with ease and has the end product to match, with this exactly the type of player Liverpool need.

Granted, they have Florian Wirtz, but having a ready-made star to compete or being another option might help the German kick-on, with there even being a world where they could start together.
Liverpool would not explore a deal for Morgan Rogers until the summer
Firstly, Rogers would cost a lot of money to prise away from Villa Park, with it likely to be around the £80m mark.
Convincing Villa to sell mid-season would also be very tricky and even more expensive than this, suggesting it would not happen until the summer anyway.
Rogers would be the perfect fit at Liverpool, though, as he would add depth and attacking flair into a team in desperate need of a lift.
His versatility would also make him a favourite under Arne Slot and give him so many options to choose from. If he carries on, it seems a no-brainer to at least attempt to sign him, but for now, Liverpool will just quietly observe.
