Browns name Shedeur Sanders as starting quarterback

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The Browns have named Shedeur Sanders their starting quarterback for their matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.

Sanders made his first NFL start on Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders, helping lead Cleveland to its third win of the season. He went 11-of-20 for 209 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.

Shedeur Sanders will start vs. the 49ers, per Kevin Stefanski.

Dillon Gabriel has cleared concussion protocol.
