Packers have far and away the NFL’s toughest remaining schedule

If the NFL season ended today, the Packers would make the playoffs, but Green Bay has a daunting road ahead in order to make the postseason.

Head coach Matt LaFleur’s team has struggled mightily with consistency from week-to-week throughout this season, but after handling its business the past two weeks against the New York Giants and Vikings, Green Bay has given itself a chance to make a run at the playoffs.

With the NFL rounding into the final stretch of the season, the Packers have far and away the most difficult remaining schedule of any team across the league.

Beginning Thursday on Thanksgiving against the NFC North rival Detroit Lions, the Packers’ remaining opponents boast an overwhelming .636 winning percentage.

Here’s the Packers’ remaining slate:

Week 13: at Detroit Lions

Week 14: vs. Chicago Bears

Week 15: at Denver Broncos

Week 16: at Chicago Bears

Week 17: vs. Baltimore Ravens

Week 18: at Minnesota Vikings

Those final six games feature four games against current division leaders (two against the Bears, one on the road against the Denver Broncos, and one against the Baltimore Ravens), with four total games against division rivals.

Green Bay has little margin for error, and no team will face a more challenging postseason path, but if the Packers are able to qualify for the playoffs, few teams will be as battle tested by the time the regular season comes to a close.
