Coen called the throw on Washington's touchdown "unbelievable," also calling Lawrence avoiding a rush and throwing to Meyers in the end zone on that touchdown "a great play." Lawrence started the overtime drive that ended with a 52-yard field goal by kicker Cam Little with a 25-yard deep pass to Washington that gave the Jaguars first-and-10 at the Cardinals 40.
"A huge play," Coen called the overtime throw to Washington.
Lawrence completed 18 of 30 passes for 256 yards Sunday, with Coen saying protection caused issues in the second quarter. He also noted that a third-quarter interception by cornerback Garrett Williams was tipped by defensive lineman Calais Campbell and that safety Budda Baker made a "great play" intercepting Lawrence in the fourth quarter.
Strange caught five passes for 93 yards Sunday, with Washington catching five passes for 71 yards and a touchdown. Meyers, acquired in a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders, caught four passes for 50 yards and a touchdown in his third game with the Jaguars.
