Ravens' John Harbaugh has zero concern over troubling Lamar Jackson trend

The Baltimore Ravens continued on their merry way in Week 12, beating the New York Jets 23-10 in a game that was a little scrappy, but John Harbaugh's team did what they needed to in order to win the game.

It also marked the third straight outing in which Lamar Jackson wasn't at his best, again completing fewer than 59 percent of his throws, and he's thrown only one touchdown to two interceptions in that span.

That could be seen as troubling for a player who just a few weeks ago had over 70 percent pass completion in five of his six games, but Harbaugh isn't fussed at all.

“Utmost confidence in Lamar Jackson, always will,” Harbaugh said. “He's my guy, he's our guy, he's our quarterback. Lamar's doing what he needs to do. He's winning football games. It's not always pretty, we've had wins like this where we've gotten up here and said it's not pretty, it's not perfect, but it's us. It's us competing and fighting, and that's what Lamar's doing.

"The pretty games will be there. They'll be there for Lamar Jackson. You can bet on that. But I'm proud of him right now, the way he's fighting to win football games.”

Ravens doing enough to keep AFC North hopes alive

The biggest thing for the Ravens over the past couple of weeks hasn't been style points; it's been getting the wins, no matter how it looks.

After the huge hole they dug for themselves at 1-5, style points count for little, and it is clear that it still applies for Harbaugh.

No, Lamar hasn't played up to his MVP standards, but it hasn't mattered because Baltimore has been winning, but the coaching staff wouldn't be human if they didn't want Jackson to play better, but right now, that isn't top of the priority list -- winning is.

And Baltimore is doing that as well as anyone right now, even if its quarterback isn't in great form.
