The Carolina Panthers and San Francisco 49ers got into a little scrap after the Week 12 game on Monday night.
More specifically, it was between 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings and Panthers safety Tre'von Moehrig.
Following the final play of the game, Jennings walked up to Moehrig and gave him an open-handed shot to the helmet, which led to a brief scrap that was quickly broken up.
Here's a look at the clip of the scuffle.

Jennings would not let up after that, though.
He kept trying to get at Moehrig after hitting him initially and had to be restrained by his own team. That even led to Jennings getting taken to the ground in the process.

Why Jauan Jennings punched Tre'von Moehrig
We have our answer as to why Jennings did what he did.
Following the last play of the game, Moehrig was spotted hitting Jennings below the belt, and it was caught on video.
Man... it looks like #Panthers DB Tre'Von Moehrig hit #49ers WR Jauan Jennings below the belt before the altercation...

Now, it'll be interesting to see if either player gets fined or worse.
We know there is precedent for Jennings to get suspended after Detroit Lions safety Brian Branch did something similar after the Week 7 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Branch struck Chiefs wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster with an open-handed punch like Jennings hit Moehrig with and was suspended for one game.
At the very least, we'd expect Jennings to get fined.
