Final parade victim discharged from hospital
The trial of Paul Doyle is due to begin at Liverpool Crown Court.
The trial of the man accused of driving into crowds at Liverpool’s victory parade is due to begin today (November 25).
Paul Doyle, 54, of Burghill Road in West Derby, is expected to appear at Liverpool Crown Court charged with 31 offences, after a car drove into fans on Water Street on May 26.

In September, Doyle entered not guilty pleas to dangerous driving, affray, 18 charges of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent, nine counts of causing GBH with intent, and two counts of wounding with intent.
The allegations relate to 29 victims, aged between six months and 77 years. The youngest is Teddy Eveson, who Doyle is accused of attempting to cause GBH to with intent.
The trial is expected to last three to four weeks.
