There is rarely a quiet day behind the scenes at Real Madrid, and it seems as though there may be an internal power struggle brewing at the Bernabeu.
The Spanish giants have had a strong start to life under new manager Xabi Alonso, sitting top of the LaLiga table, one point ahead of their fierce rivals Barcelona, while they also have won three out of four fixtures in the Champions League.
However, some players are said to be unhappy about their limited roles under the legendary midfielder, which GMS understands has led to star winger Vinicius Jr even telling president Florentino Perez that he doesn't want to renew his contract with the club as things stand.
But reports in Spain have suggested that he is not the only player in the dressing room unhappy with the manager, and six more players have now been named.

As mentioned, Vini Jr is unhappy at the Bernabeu over the way he is being used by the manager and that has led to big speculation over his future.
The Brazil superstar has completed 90 minutes on just five occasions this season, which is said to be his biggest gripe, and it even led to an explosion of anger from the winger during El Clasico last month when he was substituted.
Vini Jr was forced to apologise in the dressing room and publicly, but intentionally left the manager out of his statements, and while Alonso has since stated that the issue is behind them. However, it seems this one may yet drag on for a little while longer.
Rodrygo
Rodrygo
Rodrygo's future at Real Madrid was seen as a major issue in the summer, with Alonso opting against using him during the Club World Cup and instead preferring the likes of Arda Guler and new signing Franco Mastantuono since.
But the Brazilian decided against a move away, despite interest from the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal, and that has backfired. So far this season, the 24-year-old has started just three times in La Liga and once in the Champions League, failing to score a goal and registering just a single assist.
With the World Cup coming up in the summer, regular game time is sure to be on his mind, and with Alonso clearly not too keen on him, it's no surprise their relationship has soured.

The England superstar is often in the headlines for the right reasons in Madrid, scoring yet another crucial goal against Elche at the weekend to rescue a point for Alonso's side.
But after missing the start of the season with a shoulder injury, Bellingham has come into Alonso's Real Madrid side and is said not to possess a great relationship with the boss.
There aren't believed to be doubts over his future, but the 22-year-old prefers the role he had under Carlo Ancelotti where he was trusted to get forward more often and crash the box, and that may be something for the World Cup winner to address in the coming weeks.
Brahim Diaz

Brahim Diaz has always been a bridesmaid rather than a bride at Real Madrid, but this season he has found it increasingly difficult to get opportunities to make an impact in the side.
The Moroccan playmaker has started just four games in all competitions, registering a total of just 427 minutes of action so far, falling down the pecking order behind the likes of Guler, Mastantuono, Vini Jr and Bellingham in more advanced positions.
Despite the limited minutes, Diaz has managed one goal and two assists, but feels he should be playing more regularly, which has left him with a frosty relationship with his coach.
Endrick

It will come as a shock to absolutely nobody that Endrick is unhappy at Real Madrid right now, with the Brazilian prospect barely featuring this season.
Initially dealing with an injury at the start of the season, the form of Gonzalo Garcia in the Club World Cup saw the youngster fall even further down the pecking order now, and he has managed just 11 minutes of action under Alonso.
A January exit is expected, with a loan move to Lyon seemingly on the cards. Endrick made the move to Madrid under the premise that he could become their next big star, and things simply haven't gone to plan with Alonso at the helm, leaving him frustrated.
Federico Valverde

Seen as a key player in midfield in recent years for his incredible engine and tenacity off the ball, Valverde has found it difficult to nail down a spot in Alonso's side since the change of system.
With the Spaniard preferring more technical security than physical dominance, Valverde has often found himself being substituted early or even playing at right-back, something he is said to be very reluctant to do.
The Uruguay international previously spoke out to deny allegations he had refused to play in a more defensive role under Alonso, but it's clear there is a clash of styles between them.
Ferland Mendy

At one point, the first-choice left back at the Bernabeu, Mendy is now third-choice at best behind Alvaro Carreras and Fran Garcia, and hasn't played a single minute under Alonso this season.
The former France international wants to play regularly, and after 25 appearances last season, he wouldn't have seen this fall from grace coming.
It's no surprise that a senior player who hasn't featured isn't happy with the manager, and an exit away from the Spanish capital is surely inevitable at this point in time.
