5 Best Right-Sided Attacks in the Premier League

The Premier League has played host to some brilliant fullback-winger partnerships over the years. Links such as Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold, Robert Pires and Ashley Cole and Patrice Evra and Cristiano Ronaldo have set the league on fire in the past.

Today, we’ll be looking at the best attacking partnerships down the right flank in the Premier League this season. Who is your pick for the number one pairing?

Brentford – Michael Kayode & Dango Ouattara

This partnership has flown under the radar somewhat, but shouldn’t be underestimated. Michael Kayode is a lightning-quick, powerful young fullback, while Dango Ouattara uses his brilliant dribbling ability and movement to unlock a tight defence.

Both of them were snapped up by the Bees in the summer transfer window – Kayode came from Fiorentina, while Ouattara was signed from domestic rivals Bournemouth. With two goals and three assists for the Bees so far this season, the Cherries’ loss has been Brentford gain so far.

Chelsea – Reece James & Pedro Neto

After spending several seasons wracked by various injuries, the pieces are all starting to fall into place for Reece James. He and Pedro Neto have formed a strong partnership down the right flank – each of the two are enjoying a strong start to the campaign.

Chelsea are currently second in the Premier League table – James and Neto have played a huge part in their successes this season. Reece James has a goal and two assists to his name, while Pedro Neto has scored four goals alongside two assists.

Liverpool – Conor Bradley & Mohamed Salah

Make no mistake – the 2025/26 campaign has been highly disappointing for both Liverpool and Mohamed Salah. Nevertheless, his link-up with Conor Bradley remains one of the more dangerous right-sided attacking partnerships in the Premier League.

Bradley doesn’t aid Salah as effectively as Alexander-Arnold did, but he still gives him strong defensive cover to allow the Egyptian superstar to have a quantum of freedom in the final third. Salah has been off the boil in the current season, but has still managed to score four goals and has also racked up a pair of assists.

Arsenal – Jurrien Timber & Bukayo Saka

The attacking output of this duo is largely reliant on Bukayo Saka, but Jurrien Timber’s underrated attacking output shouldn’t be ignored. Like Bradley at Liverpool, his excellent defensive instincts allow Saka to move to advanced positions without leaving gaps.

In many ways, the attacking output of Saka and Timber is bolstered by their defensive contributions. Saka, despite being a winger, is very solid defensively. As such, they are both adept at winning the ball back and creating dangerous turnovers in possession in advantageous areas.

Crystal Palace – Daniel Munoz & Ismailia Sarr

This might be an unorthodox pick for the number one position, but we stand by it nontheless. Daniel Munoz and Ismailia Sarr have both been outstanding for Crystal Palace this season – between them, they have scored or assisted 50% of the Eagles’ goals in 2025/26.

Munoz is the classic modern wingback, possessing excellent technical ability and a penchant for running down the flanks. Sarr, on the other hand, is a skilful winger who can drop a shoulder and rattle off a shot on a whim.
