San Francisco 49ers receiver Jauan Jennings delivered some sound six-word advice after being on the receiving end of a low blow by Carolina Panthers safety Tre'von Moehrig.
Jennings, 28, was hit in the groin area on a late running play in the 49ers' 20-9 win over the Panthers on Monday Night Football. Jennings was briefly rocked by the blow, getting back to his feet with a glare in Moehrig's direction before buckling again as the pain set in, and teammate Trent Williams rushed over to assist him.

Why Moehrig lashed out remains unknown, particularly given the result was long settled. Still, Jennings went back for revenge after the game's conclusion, having to be held back and tackled after landing a shove to his rival's face.

Both players now risk fines or suspensions for the incident, mirroring the discipline handed to Detroit Lions safety Brian Branch for his actions against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football earlier in the season.
After the game, Jennings, who scored one touchdown for 41 yards, offered some short but sound advice.
"Don't get hit in the nuts," he said during his post-game media session.
Niners head coach Kyle Shanahan accused Moehrig of taking a "cheap shot" at his player and praised Jennings for his initial reaction following the late play.
"I was really proud of Jauan for not losing his mind out there," Shanahan said. When asked about the incident, Jennings ended his brief media session by advising reporters to "have a good night" and "don't get hit in the nuts."

On the Panthers' side, head coach Dave Canales said he needed to review the footage before offering any firm judgment, while Moehrig was notably curt when pressed about the punch.
"There really ain't nothing much to it," he commented. "He wants to do a little dirty stuff, so it is what it is, man... it wasn't even frustration, just [an] isolated [incident]."
A seventh-round pick out of Tennessee in the 2020 NFL Draft, Jennings spent his first few seasons as a depth option who delivered in key postseason moments before breaking out as arguably San Francisco's most productive receiver last year.

Even without stars Nick Bosa and Fred Warner, the 49ers' defense held Carolina under 250 total yards. Rising contributors like Malik Mustapha, Upton Stout, and Ji'Ayir Brown rose to the challenge for defensive coordinator Robert Saleh's unit.
Despite missing franchise quarterback Brock Purdy for much of the 2025 season, the 49ers have an 8-4 record, sitting third in a stacked NFC West, below the 8-3 Seattle Seahawks and the 9-2 Los Angeles Rams.

Purdy managed 193 passing yards for one touchdown, but showed signs of rust after being intercepted three times. The Niners take on the Cleveland Browns next, with Shedeur Sanders expected to start after leading the franchise to victory over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
