Former Green Bay Packers star Davante Adams is still a major contributor on the field. He is one of the top weapons downfield for the Los Angeles Rams’ lethal attack that just torched the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday to the tune of a 34-7 score.
Adams was a big headache for the Buccaneers’ defense that didn’t have an answer for him, as he finished the game with 62 receiving yards and two touchdowns on just five receptions and eight targets.
It was his second multi-TD game in four outings and third overall in the 2025 NFL regular season. Even though he’s already 32 years old, Adams is showing that he could be a WR1 for many other NFL teams — like, well, the Packers, with whom he played his first eight seasons in the NFL.

Speaking to reporters following the Rams’ victory over Tampa Bay, Adams expressed the seemingly unmatched joy he’s feeling with his current team.
“Most importantly, I’m having the most fun playing that I’ve ever had. Real grateful for the opportunity to play for a team like this,” the former Fresno State Bulldogs star wideout said (h/tCameron DaSilva of Rams Wire).
Was that a shot at his previous teams, the Packers, Las Vegas Raiders and New York Jets? Probably not, but what Adams said was certainly noteworthy, especially since he has had many of his best years in the NFL with Green Bay, whichselected him in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
What’s certain is that the Rams are standing tall atop the NFC standings through Week 13 with a 9-2 record.
