Jahmyr Gibbs erupts for 55.4 PPR points: The speedster logged 200-plus rushing yards on a season-high snap share in Week 12 against the Giants. While Detroit's schedule gets tougher, Gibbs looks like a league-winner.
Emeka Egbuka is in a slump: He’s been held to fewer than 10 PPR points in five of his past six outings. With wide receiver Chris Godwin ramping up from injury, Egbuka is trending in the wrong direction.

BOOMS
RB Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions
If you roster Jahmyr Gibbs, congratulations on the fantasy football win.
The Lions leaned on the star running back in Week 12, and he delivered the best fantasy output of the season: 55.4 PPR points. He finished with 219 rushing yards, three touchdowns overall, 11 catches and 45 receiving yards.
His absurd numbers aside, Gibbs posted a season-high snap share in Week 12, taking more than 70% of Detroit's offensive work. The team appears to be treating him more as a true RB1 rather than an RB1a to David Montgomery‘s RB1b, as was the case in the past. The Lions' remaining schedule is difficult for Gibbs, but it may not matter. He has league-winner written all over him.

RB Emanuel Wilson, Green Bay Packers
Wilson filled in for Josh Jacobs, who is dealing with an injury, and delivered for fantasy managers who were able to grab him off the waiver wire.

The 26-year-old dominated the Packers' backfield, turning 28 carries into nine first-down rushes, six forced missed tackles and 94 yards after contact. While it was a fun week, Jacobs is expected to return for Week 13 against the Lions on Thanksgiving.
Wilson will remain a high-end handcuff to Jacobs, who gets a ton of volume.
Temperature Check: High-end handcuff
WR George Pickens, Dallas Cowboys
The WR1 over the past two weeks? None other than George Pickens.
He has averaged 29.5 PPR points per game over that span, with a team-leading 36.4% adjusted target rate, as the focal point of the Cowboys' offense. Meanwhile, CeeDee Lamb has logged a 28.3% adjusted target rate in those two weeks. Pickens has been hot, and Dak Prescott is force-feeding him.
And it just keeps getting better: The Cowboys have the second-easiest fantasy playoff schedule for wide receivers. Pickens and Lamb should both see enough volume to carry you deep into the fantasy playoffs.
Temperature Check: Mid-tier WR1
BUSTS
QB Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens
Despite the Ravens' five-game winning streak, Jackson has put up back-to-back duds in fantasy football, with fewer than 10 points in both games.
He has not thrown a touchdown pass in either of the past two games, but not for a lack of trying. Against the Jets in Week 12, Mark Andrews dropped a touchdown pass and Jackson earned a defensive pass interference penalty on a throw to the endzone.
On top of that, the Ravens have been one of the least effective teams in the red zone. When they are getting it across the goal line, it's Derrick Henry toting the rock. It's not the time to panic, but be cautious of matchups. Jackson should be in a smash spot this week against the Bengals‘ defense. And Cincinnati‘s offense is getting Joe Burrow back, so Baltimore will need to put up points.
Temperature Check: Mid-tier QB1
RB Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts
Taylor posted his second-worst fantasy output of the season against the Chiefs, scoring only 8.6 PPR points.
Kansas City's defense excelled against the run, with five Chiefs earning 70.0-plus PFF run-defense grades and the unit combining for eight run stops. On top of that, the Colts failed to pull away as they often have this season, so Taylor simply never got going.
Taylor is still a top-three running back in fantasy football, but this was a down week for the season's RB2.
Temperature Check: Top-three RB1
WR Emeka Egbuka, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The rookie has failed to log 10 PPR points in five of his past six games.
It’s not due to lack of volume but, rather, a lack of quality. Since Week 6, Egbuka ranks seventh in the NFL in total targets (53), but he falls all the way down to 48th in catchable targets (28). Quarterback Baker Mayfield and Egbuka have not been on the same page lately, and with wide receiver Chris Godwin ramping up and Bucky Irving coming back into the fold in Week 13, there may be fewer targets to go around.
Don't panic, but this is also a worrisome situation.
