**Mikel Arteta hopes to have Martin Odegaard back in his Arsenal squad for the game against Bayern Munich, while Kai Havertz and Viktor Gyokeres are also closing in on making a comeback.**
[Gunners skipper Odegaard has returned to training following a knee injury](http://Arteta%20says%20Arsenal%20attacking%20duo%20are%20close%20to%20returning) and Arteta says he will make a final decision on whether he can be involved on Wednesday.
“We’re going to have a meeting to decide on Martin,” Arteta said ahead of the game.
“He was very close for the previous game so we are hopeful that tomorrow he can be in the squad as well.”
Kai Havertz and Viktor Gyokeres did not train ahead of the game against Bayern and are again set to miss out, but Arteta provided a positive update on both and says they could return for the weekend’s game against Chelsea.
“Really good, both of them,” he said when asked how they are progressing.
“In the next few days, I think they’re going to have a repeated scan to see how everything is to determine whether or not we can push them for the weekend or the following game.”
Gabriel Jesus is also not far away from returning from his long spell out with an ACL injury.
“He’s quite close top be fair,” Arteta said. “It’s earlier than we expected.
“In the next few days he’s going to have another step to make with a game that we’re going to organise for him and after that he’s just going to be knocking on the door.”
