“What a Joke of a Game Plan”: Carolina Panthers Fans Express Frustration In Loss Against the…

The Carolina Panthers defense kept this team in the game against the San Francisco 49ers, but the offense did not do enough in a 20-9 loss. Carolina quarterback Bryce Young struggled and he completed 18-of-29 passes for 169 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions.

The Panthers have a 6-6 record this season and the 49ers have an 8-4 record this season. Despite the loss for Carolina, they only trail the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-5 record) by 0.5 games in the NFC South division. There are fans who also questioned the game plan for this team.

There were a lot of Panthers fans on Twitter who were not happy with the way things transpired against the 49ers. This is what some Carolina fans had to say about the loss against San Francisco:

What a joke of a game plan. Please go up to all of our defensive guys and apologize. They played too well for us to lose that game. We can’t all of a sudden want to be a competitive offense with 5 minutes left in the 3rd. Why aren’t we calling those plays earlier!

Allergic to running the ball on the 1-yard line. TWICE.

What the fuck is wrong with you NFL coaches REFUSING TO RUN THE BALL?!?!

Serious answers please.

Running the ball 9 times was criminal. Defense gave the team a chance. The way this offense operates, giving the ball away twice is a killer. Seems like a verdict on QB play is always week to week. Bryce seems like such a good guy, but is he THE guy for the Panthers?

Another game that could’ve been won..dropped balls..not enough Rico..coach gotta stop relying on analytics and use his gut sometimes..defense deserves some credit but we gotta get consistent to be the real deal..I don’t love the cellys when they are loosing either..gotta be more…

You can’t say we didn’t have the opportunities… offense (impotent), bad play calling (don’t take points off the board?!?) and mistakes (just when I praise XL, he steps out of bounds for NO REASON, bonehead!)… all just let us down. 😔 Proud of the defense!

There was a time where the score was 17-9 in the third quarter. Carolina decided to go for two points after a penalty on the extra point, but they failed to score. The Panthers will next play against the Los Angeles Rams (9-2 record) before the bye week.
