Jurrien Timber hailed our togetherness, both on and off the pitch, and cannot wait to face Bayern Munich in the Champions League at Emirates Stadium.
The Dutch defender is part of a formidable back line, which has helped us win our first four league phase matches without conceding a single goal.
Jurrien was asked about his sparkling form and pointed towards the environment that has been built at the club and the unity amongst the players.
He said: "I'm just trying to get better every time, every game, every day. But I think it's also the environment, the culture we have here. I think everyone is trying to push each other, we have a big squad so also we have to push each other. But we're also trying to win something, so I think I'm in the right environment to better myself and become the best version of myself.
"I think the whole team is together. On and off the pitch, we are great together. I think the energy, the togetherness and the unity we need to use and bring to the pitch every game."
We take on a Bayern Munich side who have won all but one of their matches across all competitions in 2025/26 and are only ahead of us in the league phase standings on goals scored.
While this match sees first take on second, Jurrien feels that beating Bayern, no matter where they are in the table, signifies a massive victory.
He said: "Even if it wasn't first or second place, I think Bayern Munich is a big club, they have a great team, great players, great culture. It's going to be a tough game either way, and I think it's two teams that want to press, want to play, so for the fans, it's going to be an exciting game as well.
"I think just winning against Bayern Munich is a big thing, whether they concede or not. I think they're a good team, they're a tough opponent, so it's going to be a good game."
